Dr. Sasirekha Wijayakumar (Known as Dr. Rekha Kumar)
Dr Sasirekha Wijayakumar, an accomplished consultant GP, has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2007 and possesses over 25 years of experience in the medical field. Her expertise extends to various hospitals across New South Wales, including Concord, Blacktown, Balmain, Canterbury, Lithgow, and Rozelle, along with medical centres to cater for the Central Coast, Western Sydney and Northern Sydney communities.
In addition to her clinical experience, Dr Kumar has served as an examiner for the RACGP College, contributing to the evaluation and education of future doctors. Dr Kumar is particularly passionate about preventive health, recognizing the importance of supporting both physical and emotional well-being. Her devoted interest as a general practitioner allows her to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Dr Thaya Yogathasan
Dr. Thaya Yogathasan graduated from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma in Child Health. Dr. Thaya has over 15 years of experience as a GP and spent six years working at St Vincent Hospital.
Her special interests include holistic and preventive care. Dr. Thaya is committed to providing comprehensive care to all her patients and believes in continuous learning and growth.
Dr Anusha Raveendran
Dr. Anusha Raveendran graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed a Diploma in Child Health. Dr. Anusha has over 15 years of experience as a GP and has worked at both Royal North Shore Hospital and Gosford Hospital.
Her special interests include holistic and preventive care. Dr. Anusha is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients and emphasizes a holistic approach to healthcare.
Dr Narthani Rasendran
Dr Rasendran has 16 years of experience as a medical practitioner, and she has served the rural community in Cessnock (Hunter Region) for the past eight years as their GP. She describes her role as a rural GP as the most soul-satisfying experience of her career and life. She is passionate about delivering quality healthcare and is committed to making a positive impact on her patients' overall wellbeing.
Dr Rasendran obtained her MBBS with Second Upper Honours from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2009 and received her Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2015.
Dr Rasendran has been practising medicine since 2009, gaining extensive experience across various medical disciplines. In Sri Lanka, she worked as a postgraduate trainee in general medicine and also served as a medical officer in anaesthesia and intensive care.
Dr Rasendran has a strong interest in preventive medicine and believes in a holistic approach to patient care. She is especially passionate about managing chronic health conditions, mental health, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue syndrome—with a deep understanding of both the physical and psychological aspects of health.
Her other areas of interest include geriatric medicine, paediatrics, gynaecological and endocrine conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, osteoporosis, work related injuries, mental health and addiction medicine.
